The kids left on Thursday and we kicked it into high gear again to get ready for the Wild Women's weekend. We cleaned cabin, shopped Costco, planned and organized the activities and we were ready to greet and welcome the women as they arrived Friday afternoon.
Brian and Scott took them on a hike up Inspiration Point. A strenuous hike to the top of a mountain. Up there they had a devotion and hiked back in the dark with their flashlights.
When they arrived back to the Lodge, we had a Chocolate Fountain waiting for them with lots of yummies. Big hit! Of course!
Saturday, they were split into 4 teams and they had to find their way via GPS to each "challenge". There were 4.
1) Rappelling Wall (32 ft)
2) Big Canyon Lake. At the lake they were given random supplies of boards, barrels and rope. They were to build a boat and get their whole team around the buoy (3 at a time). No swimming!
2) Shooting range. Hit as many clay pigeons as possible with a 20 gauge.
4) Hadden's Canyon. Get their team up the canyon via ATV (2 at a time) and finish the challenge at the top as quickly as possible.
The last morning they were here, they all played Paintball. First round was Jungle Ball, down by the creek and in the trees. Then they played Speedball. The Jungle was not safe for me as a photographer so I only have footage of the Speedball.
Again, lots of footage and pics. Here is a sampling of the things the "Wild Women" did here at Big Canyon Ranch.

Sounds like you are having a BLAST in your new endeavor. Praying the Lord will continue to bless this ministry.
That looks like fun~ except my boys would probably like to do all that. Loved the boat making challenge. I think I would have sank :-)
