Mother's Day started off with all of us serving a brunch to our campers at Big Canyon. We said good-bye to them. Relaxed at home.
Then we played!!
We all hiked to the Cottonwoods.
ALL (defined as) - us, the dogs and all of the baby goats.
Tess had such a great time with our newest goat following her.
Hudson had to play "kid-herd" for one of the babies.
Brian and Tess eating grass and chewing their cud.
For those of you who do not know, "The Cottonwoods" is a place just south of our home and provides us with a place to cool off...
A POND!!
Fully equipped with a rope swing.
Some chose to get wet... (crazies!)
And others just enjoyed swinging over the pond while staying dry.
I am so thankful for each one of my children. They are, truly, gifts from God.
"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! ..."
1 John 3:1
I am also thankful for the love God lavishes on me ~ so much that He calls me one of His children. What an honor!!
