I am thrilled to have gotten this picture. We have watched this mama Turkey raise her babies. They have been around the Lodge all summer but I have never had my camera with me.
As you can see, Brian was working on the saw ( I don't know the real name but that is what it looks like to me) and they came by on their morning walk. Mama is in the lead and then her 4 babies following. They are not afraid of us or the noise. They like to be around the action.
Hmmm... I wonder if she would be interested in our Mr. Tom
Afterall, he is a nice guy and mighty fine looking ~ for a turkey.
