I absolutely LOVE the violin.

So thrilled to have not just one but two playing in our home.

However, I will admit, at first I was not too sure about it.

It was a little hard on the ears.

But I am happy to say after lots of practice and a year of lessons,

the girls are playing amazing - much better.

They enjoy playing piano/violin duets - pretty cool.

Right now, they are working on a Christmas song (violin) duet together.

And they are both learning fiddle songs.

 He is patient and good to her.

We have sent the nine inches and we are praying for the person that will receive her hair in a wig.

Saturday was a fun day for the girls (and Cooper) in our family.

We all dressed up and headed to SL for Abbi and Maggie's violin recital.

After the recital we went to the hospital to see Nana (my mom).

And then we went to lunch at the girls' most favorite resaurant...

A New Dinner Guest

Tessa has invited a dinner guest and this guest has been to every meal for the past week. She is very quiet and doesn't eat much. She never leaves a mess. She behaves like a lady and sits between Tess and me.

I love that my girls love and care for each other.

Orphans

A friend from church went to Haiti.

She is going back in June and she has a list of things she wants to take with her to help the Haitians.

One item she would like to take is clothing - dresses for the girls.

She gave us directions on how to make

(fyi - the directions made no sense to me so my mom made one and showed us how to. Thanks MOM!)

We had quite the assembly line and made 10 dresses.

We had a lot of fun making them.

We pray that these dresses will bless the little orphan girls of Haiti.

We pray that the little girls that wear these will be well taken care of, find homes and come to know Jesus!
