Happenin's

We are keepin' busy around here...
(never seems to be a dull moment)

Hank, Brian and Darin doin' the hunting thing.
Hank was a leader/mentor/friend to both Brian and Darin during their college years. He came all the way from Texas to pull a bull elk off of Big Canyon with a bow. They saw many but did not "bag one".

Lots of football watching. So fun!!
(and I might mention nerve wracking for their mother)

Troubles!

I sat down yesterday to do a post and was having difficulty with uploading my pics.
I left the computer. Never came back.

Then, this morning a received a cute comment from Lea via my blog and couldn't figure out what she was talking about. Checked my blog. To my surprise, there was a post. Nothing of which I was working on. AND one I did not publish. Quite strange.

Oh well, it was a cute picture of one of our kittens anyways.
Speaking of which, does anyone need a kitten? We have one left that needs a home. He is a very cute and sweet all black one.
(just thought I would throw that in)

A New Dinner Guest

Tessa has invited a dinner guest and this guest has been to every meal for the past week. She is very quiet and doesn't eat much. She never leaves a mess. She behaves like a lady and sits between Tess and me.
Meet Rosie!

Tess makes sure her tummy is full and reminds me at each meal that
"She doesn't weawy eat. Me just pwetending."
I just love her 3 year old sweetness!!!

fyi - See the dove on the table next to Tess?
 Mmmm Mmmmm!!
Keep huntin' boys.
Mama needs more of those yummies.

Guys and Guns

Do you know what today is?
Apparently, I didn't.
I just thought is was a new month - September!
I was wrong.

My boys, however, informed me that it was NOT just a new month.
It is September 1st.
Which, in their boy brains, it is Dove Opener!!
Let the shooting begin.

Their friends came over early this morning and the hunt was on.
Total numbers for the day were 22
Jonathon, Hudson, Caleb and Daniel
(and 6 of their birdies)

ps I guess you know what will be on our dinner table tonight...

Thu-thump

Thu-thump! Thu-thump!
That's what we heard yesterday!
We heard the strong heartbeat of our little blessing.

My midwife thinks I am more like 16 weeks.
I am sticking to 14 weeks!
(if she is right - then I will have an early baby :-)
