It REALLY Stinks Around Here!

It's that time of year again.
Time to breed our does - female goats.
That means Casey-the-Buck returns to our farm.

If you don't know about bucks,
let me tell you...
THEY STINK!
BAD!!!
REAL B.A.D.

  He LOVES our girls (goats).
(Of course he does. He is a buck!)
The girls were not so sure of him at first.
The girls ran and Casey chased.

While Casey trapped Patsy IN the shed,
Bambi jumped ON the shed to get away.

After a while, the girls started warming up
to the idea of being with him.
They quit running and started sniffing.
UGH!

Even Cash was annoyed by the new smell on the farm.
He couldn't figure out why something would allow itself to smell so bad.
Casey gave Cash "some lip".

Hopefully Casey will do "his thing" and we will have kids next spring.
And...more yummy goat milk!

Bethany is doing the same around here....except she is actually artificially inseminating this year. She went to a class and learned how to do it, got the equipment and will anxiously await to see how it all turns out!!!!
