Happy New Year!
April (a dear friend) got married in Hawaii in August. They had a wedding reception for family and friends that were not able to make the trek to Hawaii. It was a fun evening of fellowship, food and dancing.
April and Jason
Here is what we have been doing lately. I think the best way to tell you what we have been doing is to show you. I will give you a personal tour of our home but you must promise me that you will remember the pictures of our home BEFORE Christmas. Things have changed a bit... Come with me.
Playing in the Snow
This is the mud room. Each child has their own locker to hang up coats and store boots, shoes, gloves etc.
So much for that plan.
Playing Games
Apparently the players will be back.
Building Forts
We can pull the cushions off and unfold every blanket in the house but heaven forbid that we should put any of it away.
Playing with the Doll Houses
What a great little neighborhood
Putting Away Christmas Decorations
Things are boxed up and piled neatly in the family room. Next step is to put them away in the storage room.
But really, who wants to put things away when you have this mess to deal with before you can put anything on the shelves? (sigh)
Hallway lined with Christmas trash. Garbage can was full.
It is obvious we have been doing lots of playing. We have had fun and we have made lots of memories.
And it is obvious we have not done any cleaning OR picking up after ourselves. Hmmm. Maybe tomorrow?
Happy Birthday Tessa Enid!!
Her day started out with Abbi and Maggie potty training her. She made great progress but there will be more training ahead. (I will spare you the picture of her sitting on the potty)

The Building of a Human Pyramid
Voila! Hold steady.
And the crashing of the pyramid!!!
After our tummies were filled and the pyramid was built, the children soaked in the hot tub out on the deck.
Thanks W's!! We had a fun evening.
On Christmas Eve
We went to church for the Candlelight Service. Magge, Ellie (friend) and Abbi did a worship dance to "Joy to the World". They were awesome!!
After the service we went to the M's for appetizers and fellowship. We then went home and opened our Christmas Eve present from Grandma June. New jammie bottoms for everyone!!!
And on Christmas Day
Brian read the Christmas Story
And then we took turns dumping looking through our stockings.
And then... We opened presents!
