We are sad

Our Papa Jerry (Brian's dad) passed away peacefully Friday night. We are going to miss him. He was a great dad - of course, because he raised my awesome husband. And he was a very fun, caring and loving Grandpa.

Our family flies (yes, all 10 of us) out early tomorrow morning. We will be leaving for the airport around 4:45am and I can guarantee you...I will NOT be driving! We are looking forward to our time in Kansas with family and friends. Jerry's Celebration of Life service is on Wednesday.

I am still sore in my neck and parts of my back, but can still function.

Still no word if they caught the drunk driver. I will keep you posted.

Thanks for all your prayers. You are greatly appreciated.

Talk to ya later!!

Oh my Ashley~ I'm sorry for you all~ I'm glad Brian was able to be there with his Dad. Often times that's the one wish of children that they could have said goodbye.

We will keep praying for Brian as he says Good bye to his Papa in his heart.

Thanks for the update~

We will be in Kansas City this Saturday. Will you still be there?

Ashley,
First let me say PRAISE GOD you and Brian are alive and well after your accident!
I am praying for your family, especially Brian. I will never forget the impact my FIL's death had on my husband. It is a hard thing for a man to lose his father. Blessings upon blessings, your husband knows our peace giving Father. (((hugs)))

Ashley,
I pray that the Lord would wrap His arms around Brian and your family. I know the hurt of losing a father, but I also know the love of Father God. He is more than enough in all things. Love on your husband and your children, and let them love on you. Know that you are being prayed for here in East Tennessee.
grace and peace,
julie
