Christmas Tree Party
A Family Tradition
This is an evening we all look forward to. We make popcorn and turn on the Christmas music.
Each year each child gets a new ornament that represents this past year.
(Then when they get married, I will give them their ornaments and they can use them to decorate their tree with their spouse and family.)
After everyone opens and hangs their new ornament, we pull out all of the past years' ornaments and reminisce.
That is pretty much all he did this fall.
Hudson's ornament says "Fish Eat Sleep Repeat"
That is alot of what he did in Alaska with his Papa.
Abbi's ornament is a Paint Horse. She got a horse this summer.
Maggies is a teacup. We had lots of fun doing tea parties this year.
Weston's is a bicycle. He learned to ride his bike without training wheels.
Elizabeth got a chicken because she likes to gather the eggs each day.
Dani Rae got an orange kitty. She loved all of our kitties but especially the orange one.
Every child has a Lenox Rocking Horse that says "Babys First Christmas" and the year. Tess really likes hers!
Everyone putting on the ornaments.
The party is over.
The tree looks great (and very full) and everyone is ready for bed.
