We love living in the mountains. However, it was great to be in the midwest where the land is flat and LUSH - everything so green. No sprinklers needed!
It was also fun to see all the big farms surrounded by fields and silos full of their harvest.
I took this picture for my own sentimental reasons. St Joseph is where Brian and I started our married life together. Great memories. Lots of growth. Awesome friends!
This is where Jerry lived ... a nice home in the country.

We missed each other by days!! We saw that freeway sign on the way to pick up Garrett at the airport :-) The midwest is a beautiful place isn't it~
