Abbi and Chief
together again!
Remember this winter we got so much snow that the top of our fence was to the top of the snow? We took Chief down to my dad's in Salt Lake. He was there for about 4 months. We have visited him and ridden him a bit down there but yesterday my parents came up and with them they brought Abbi's "handsome man" back to her - Chief. They also brought a friend for Chief, Risky (one of my dad's other horses)

We had a fun afternoon with Papa and Nana. Nana read books and colored with the younger ones.
Papa taught the older ones how to play Mexican Train with dominoes.It's amazing what 2 horses will do in the way of motivation. Abbi and Caleb had their school done before the sun was up. (I checked it and they not only got it done quickly but they did a great job too) They were outside saddling and off for a ride after all the chores were done.

What a beautiful horse! We too play Mexican Train with our children. My parents taught our family to play. I love it because it is a game that an adult loves as much as a 9 year old.
