Come On In!

It is dumping snow, the children are sledding, Brian is plowing (poor guy) and I am planning Christmas meals and gifts (with a break to blog real quick). We did our Christmas decorating Thanksgiving weekend. The children have so much fun setting up the Nativities and decorating. Here are a few things you would see in our home if you stopped by.

The Front Door
(and you would get to use our round-about if you come to the front door)

Stockings are hung

The Table Centerpiece

Christmas Countdown Chain and Nativity Calendar.
The 4 younger children cut a chain each day.
The 4 older children add to the Nativity.

Puzzles, puzzles, puzzles!
This is the time of year for puzzles. I think we have already done 5 with 500 or more pieces each. It doesn't take long to get one finished with all of us working on it.

School Room Door Wreath
(I bought this last year on clearance at Pier 1. I am always thrilled when I find an "after Christmas" treasure.)

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."  Romans 15:13

Gorgeous! Lovely! And the snow picture at top is AMAZING! We got awesome pictures like that when we lived on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State, such a beautiful part of our country! Merry Christmas!
